it was supposed to be last Friday but then it was called off at the very last minute as -ah ham sap- lou (brian) couldn't make it hahahaha... so tonite, we are gonna finally make it...

we are going to make something call affogato to eat and i dunno what the heck is that hahaha but then dun care lar, juz go and try plus talk cock lar ;p... after tasting it, it's actually ice cream + espresso ;) but then it quite good hahaha...

DiGi Released iPhone 4 Plan

for the last few days the most talked conversation in the offiz was about the announcement of the iPhone 4 plan from the 2 telco giants... Maxis and DiGi... since Maxis already announced their plan, everyone is waiting eagerly for DiGi's package which has to be cheaper than Maxis... but then by how much???...

well the waiting is over now as at 6pm today, they have finally released it... as overall package, they indeed are cheaper than Maxis but then they didn't subsidised the iPhone 4 device as much as Maxis does... DiGi offer to cut down their phone and data plan in order to fight off Maxis... so it really depends on if you can foot out the initial device money at one go or not, if yes then DiGi will be the choice coz it's cheaper in long run... but then if you cannot foot out the heavy device price at one shot, then Maxis will be the option...

but then DiGi aren't gonna juz stop there to see all their potential customers going over to Maxis for the iPhone 4 rite???... so DiGi offer to have installment payment for the iPhone 4 device with 0% interest payment of 24mths and 36mths with almost all the banks option available... smart move rite... but then still there are ppl out there doesn't prefer installment payment even if it's 0% installment...

if you're looking for the iPhone 4, so which of the 2 telco you're choosing???... and the biggest question will be how long before Celcom Axiata will have it's bite on the iPhone market???... why isn't they having the iPhone 4 device???... strange...

seems like BlackBerry Torch 9800 device really pickup the hype it has created over in the US and Europe as all the big 3 telco here in Malaysia will be offering it... first it was Maxis announcing it which was later superseded by Celcom and then Maxis put the advert back on their site... and now it's DiGi's turn...

now the question is that how many ppl will actually go for it???... with the arrival of iPhone 4 this week and the non-stopping new Android devices, will BlackBerry Torch selling well here???... and not to forget that Microsoft will be banking heavily on it's totally revamp Windows Phone 7 which is rumored to be releasing in October...

ever since iPhone 4 was announced back in the 2nd quarter of 2010 the amount of hype it has created cannot be matched... it first started off with the leaked/missing phone which was left in the bar that later ended up in the hands of Gizmodo... if this doesn't made enough publicity, then comes the death of grip issue on the iPhone 4 whereby the signal will drop significantly if it is gripped in a specific way...

yet ppl in the world still buying and supporting the iPhone 4... becoz of the design look and brand name (brand loyalty) perhaps???... finally this week, telco from Malaysia will be releasing the most awaited phones for 2010, the iPhone 4...

i have not been updating my blog here for quite a few weeks liao hahaha... erm typically coz i was busy playing an online game which i encounter recently... well this is not a new game actually juz that i came across it and tried it... and glued to it since there aren't any new game released outside since the last one which i've finished up, StarCraft II...

back to this online game, it's actually a MMORPG called Battle of the Immortals (BOI) hosted in the US and Europe by this company called Perfect World Entertainment... let see how far i can bring my character up in the game hahahaha...

BlackBerry Torch 9800 & Curve 3G ~ Available

when BlackBerry new revolutionary OS 6 was announced, my current Storm 2 device couldn't or will not be getting the update... zzzz... reason behind it was that my device memory was too low to have it running... the new OS 6 required at least 512MB of RAM to run while mine only sport a mere 256MB... to add things worst is that Storm 2 device is barely 1 year old since it was announced by RIM... so somehow this device become obsolete in less than a year...

in come a new touch screen device with a slide down keyboard by RIM to couple it with the new OS 6... codename BlackBerry Torch 9800 and it's exclusively with AT&T at the moment... last week when i was visiting Maxis website, i saw the advert that they are bringing in the BlackBerry Torch and i was a bit surprised as i was thinking that Celcom will be the first to bring it in since their relationship with RIM is stronger when it comes to BlackBerry marketing in Malaysia...

then yesterday when i was visiting Celcom website, i saw it finally... BlackBerry Torch 9800 will be here in Malaysia first with Celcom hahaha... that's what advertised on their website... hahahaha... and then when i navigate over to Maxis site, there isn't any trace of the BlackBerry Torch 9800 advert anymore hahahaha... does this really means that Celcom have won the exclusive deal over Maxis???... i do think so hahahaha...

along with the Torch 9800, there is also another device announced by RIM along with the OS 6 which is the new Curve 3G which is OS 6 ready device sigh*** and it's already available on Celcom and Maxis... why is it OS 6 ready???... coz they released it with OS 5 and then later will released the upgrade ROM for OS 6... but my sad Storm 2 will/may not ever kiss the OS 6...

EOS View Finder Cleaning

there were a few spot of dust on my EOS 400D view finder and although it doesn't have any impact to the end photos, yet it's quite disturbing to have them obstructing you when you are taking photos... so i brought along my camera and dropped by Canon Service Center in Saujana... the last time i went there, it only took me about 20 minutes to have my camera cleaned... but then this time, i have to leave my camera there as all their technician has gone out for lunch and only be back at 2pm...

so i dropped the camera there and came back to collect it around 6:30pm... luckily they close at 7:30pm but then their technician usually goes off for the day at 5:30pm, therefore if there is something wrong you encounter after 5:30pm... most likely you have to leave it for another day for their technician to look at it tomorrow...

p/s: there is actually another very small dust at the viewfinder but then the customer service lady says that it's a stain and cannot be removed hahaha... but then nvm lar since the larger dust is no longer there now ;p

I Met 2 New Frens

it's sunday and i hit the road again with my camera... this time, to Semenyih Dam... the last time i was there, i was mesmerized by the scenic view along the Semenyih Lake and i wanted to see it again ;) or maybe if i could find a spot good enough, then a photo or two perhaps...

getting there is rather easy with the help of my Garmin software on my ageing Samsung i780 phone ;) but then sadly i couldn't find a spot which is good enough for me to stop down and have some photography... :( so all i could do was to drive along the road while admiring the scenic view, it's just amazing view... at least to me hahaha...

so now what???... after a long drive from Shah Alam to here, it's time to head back???... nope hehehe... i drove down further towards Port Dickson to see if i'm lucky enough to have an orange sunset maybe... so from Semenyih Lake, i took the Lekas Highway all the way to Seremban and heading towards Port Dickson... well, it seems that luck wasn't on my side as i couldn't get a view of the sunset as it was too cloudy zzzz... :( however, i found 2 new frens instead while i was strolling along the beach...

on the left is Mun Chiad and the right is Janicee... both are from KL and erm... similar like me drove down all the way from KL to Port Dickson to buzz away from city life... both of them were happily photographing each another and i was requested to help them to take a few shot of them... before they leave, i took the above photo as a remembrance and posted to them when i was back at home...

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time

when i start my engine to watch movie, i'm kinda of a marathon type hahahaha... so next on was the Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time... this one i actually wanted to go to cinema and watch it but then for whatever reason i couldn't recall why i have actually missed it... zzzz...

so juz moments ago, i've just complete watching it and again i like it hahaha... well maybe becoz this is an adaptation from a well know computer game series and somehow was the first computer game that i played many many years ago hahaha... i still remember it was still black and white and all you got to do is to play the role as the Prince... jumping up and down drinking potion and if you drank the wrong potion, you'll die hahaha... or if you walk across a platform which has hidden spike, you'll again die as the hidden spike will launched itself up and pierce you... believe me that back then, this game was a hit game...

on to the movie... i like the way how they filmed the castle as it was so realistic and it has this Persian look of it hahaha... not sure if that's a real one or was shot in a set within a studio... but it's just amazing something like the Lord of the Rings castle... absolute detail madness and realistic... this movie is about brotherhood and how a peasant became a prince which is destined to protect the dagger which has the power to turn back time...

and the actress is very pretty as well hahaha... and that was another reason why i watched and recommend this movie ;p hahaha... but then seriously i do recommend to watch this movie and i'm not gonna be much of a spoiler for this movie here hahaha... so go watch it ;)

ou yeah... there is a quote at the beginning and ending of this film which says...

"...it is said some lives are linked across time, connected by an ancient calling that echoes through the ages..."

and i like it very very much... it refers to the word... destiny...

Letters to Juliet

i've not been watching movies lately or should i say for the past few months... so there are lots of movies which i've not watched yet :( erm... among the famous one, Ironman 2 :sad:...

so today i have some free time to fire up my Rapidshare and do some stuff with it hahaha... ;p sorry coz it's not on cinema anymore or some of them never even got to our cinema for whatever reason... that's more sad... it didn't took me long to get what i'm actually looking for and i found it... first on the list is Letters to Juliet... i first came across this movie when i saw someone posted the trailer on Facebook and when i saw it, i somehow quite attracted to the script and coupled with the song Love Story from Taylor Swift, the producer juz know how to hit the right spot ;)

okay so now on the movie... erm it's a very touching yet it brings some sense of joy and laugh at some part of it... and i kinda like it hahahaha... some spoilers here... it's about a girl name Sophie who was engaged to a cook and both of them went for a pre-honeymoon trip down to Verona, Italy... there is where the whole story begins where Sophie found a letter which was written by a girl name Claire 50 years ago to Juliet when she was asked to run away with a guy name Lorenzo but she didn't turn up...

and Sophie writes back to Claire and which the latter came to Verona and embark on a journey to find Lorenzo hahaha... and she found him in the end and both got married at last since both of them has lost their soulmate... but then it doesn't just ends there as Sophie finally has courage to leave her fiance for Claire's grandson where she met him during their journey to find Lorenzo... happy ending... ;)
